Today we take a trip back to 1987 to the third album by Grim Reaper for the title track called “Rock You To Hell.”
The band lineup for “Rock You To Hell” includes: Steve Grimmett – vocals, Nick Bowcott – guitar, Dave Wanklin – bass and Marc Simon – drums and includes the following tracks:

- When Heaven Comes Down
- Suck It and See
- Rock Me Til I Die
- You’ll Wish That You Were Never Born
- Waysted Love
- I Want More
The band released a video for the song “Rock You To Hell” and while the band had some success with the album, record labels had begun to pursue more speed and thrash metal bands to sign during that time. While the band had songs for a fourth album, legal battles forced them to shelve the album and they broke up in 1988. They have since reunited with many of the original members and released their fourth album in 2016 called “Walking In The Shadows” to favorable reviews. Singer Steve Grimmett was hospitalized in 2017 for an infection that caused him to have part of his leg amputated but he has since had a prosthetic attached and continues to play out at shows and festivals.
